Five things worth your attention

ACT THIS WEEK

The SIforce open beta is live

Go to AppExchange, find the plugin, submit your org ID, and Salesforce activates it the same day. The August announcement had only said open beta was expected in September. It is open. This is the one item on the list you can act on immediately.

UNDERREPORTED

Agent Fabric manages other vendors' agents

One console for agents from Azure, AWS, Google and Agentforce, with per agent token budgets, spend alerts and cost optimisation. The demo org showed a $2.5M monthly agent bill split across six providers. That is a governance problem arriving before most enterprises have noticed it.

UNDERREPORTED

Agents that learn legacy systems in a sandbox

In the Siemens demo an agent was given an SAP sandbox, described as a classroom, learned the supplier onboarding process in 90 minutes, and froze what it learned into a library of deterministic trusted actions. If that ships, the integration backlog that blocks most automation gets smaller.

STRATEGY

Salesforce now owns a model

Koa is its own CRM reasoning model, built on NVIDIA Nemotron. Read alongside the AWS and Google announcements the pattern is deliberate: stay neutral about models, and own one. Margin, data residency and vendor leverage all shift at once.

PLANNING

Most of it ships after October

The keynote presented generally available, open beta, pilot and winter in one breath. The ledger below separates them. Roughly forty dated products were announced and the tail runs to April 2027.

Six announcements that carry weight

SIforce

GENERALLY AVAILABLE

The headline. A live interface layer that carries Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, semantics, permissions, security and governance into any AI interface. It is delivered as surfaces rather than as an application: Claudeforce for Cowork users, Slackforce for Slack users, the new Coworker for Lightning users, and, in Benioff’s words, many others to come. An SDK for building your own SIforce applications was also promised and almost nobody reported it.

“If you're a Cowork user you're going to get Claudeforce. If you are a Slack user you're going to get Slackforce. If you're a Lightning user you're going to get the new Coworker.”

[00:30:00]

The packaging vehicle is a new bundled edition called SIforce Max Edition. Nearly every new feature on the release slides carries its badge, which tells you where the commercial lever sits.

Koa

PILOT, PUBLIC THIS WINTER

Salesforce's first CRM reasoning model, built on NVIDIA Nemotron and designed for long running agents that execute multiple tasks to complete a complex outcome. The slide credits training on 27 years of workflows and fine tuning on public and synthetic data, with the claim that it matches or exceeds foundation model performance for CRM at three times fewer errors.

That benchmark is Salesforce CRM Bench, which is Salesforce’s own, run against unnamed foundation models. Treat the number accordingly. The trust argument is the more durable claim: no customer data was used in training. Pilot customers named include Formula 1, Xero, Baxter Credit Union and UChicago Medicine.

Agent Fabric

GATEWAY AVAILABLE, REST DECEMBER

MuleSoft upleveled into a management plane for every agent in the enterprise, and the genuinely cross vendor part of the announcement. The agent list carries a provider column showing Azure, Microsoft, AWS, Google and Agentforce agents side by side.

The cost management view is the part to study. The demo org showed $2.5M in total managed agent spend, split across Azure OpenAI at $1.0M, Anthropic at $526K, Agentforce at $406K, AWS Bedrock at $302K, Gemini at $173K and OpenAI at $102K. Wallets set a per agent budget, and one agent was flagged at 100 percent of a $406,000 monthly limit. The product also proposes optimisations that cut token cost, which an admin reviews and applies.

Salesforce Guardian

PARTLY AVAILABLE, MCP SECURITY JANUARY

The evolution of Shield and Trusted Services into a named security suite, aimed at two things agents change: agent identity, meaning discovering agents that are going rogue, and data security, meaning classification and lifecycle protection. The slide claims an 80 percent reduction in security administration effort.

The demo was refreshingly unglamorous, and better for it: a security score of 92, 76 of 78 agents monitored with two unmanaged, and a queue of four findings including an unapproved MCP server serving customer transcripts and an agent exporting in bulk. That is what agent governance actually looks like.

Fin

GENERALLY AVAILABLE

Welcomed on stage as the newest member of the Agentforce family. The fuller context, announced separately, is that Fin is a completed $3.6 billion acquisition of the company formerly known as Intercom, closed five days before the keynote and bringing more than 30,000 customer companies with it.

The keynote slide cites a 79 percent resolution rate and 560,000 conversations a month; the September acquisition release cited an average of 76 percent. Fin is already running on help.salesforce.com.

The Customer 360 release wave

MOSTLY OCTOBER ONWARD

The least covered and most practically useful segment of the keynote: nine clouds, each with named features and dated availability. Highlights include Hunter shipping with ZoomInfo, Demandbase and Apollo built in; the contact centre going live in October; a CMDB that updates itself; a renewals agent that works out which accounts to approach and handles the upsell; and Tableau proactive intelligence, which tells you the story without being asked.

One line from that segment is worth carrying on its own: there are now over 500 agents working on Salesforce.

The proof they offered

A single slide, and the most cited thing from the whole event. Every figure below is Salesforce reporting on its own internal deployment. Read it as a ceiling, not a forecast: their data estate is the thing most customers do not have.

Two things to get right if you quote this

  • $484M, not $500M. The figure was given as five hundred million in the spoken remarks and as $484M annualised on the slide. The slide carries the precise number, so quote that one.
  • The customer figures are more useful than the internal ones. L'Oreal reported cases assisted by AI running 64 percent more efficient and containment sustained at 30 to 40 percent. Adecco reported recruiters saving 35 to 40 percent of their time and 20,000 more placements year to date. Those came from the post keynote broadcast, not the main stage, and a business case can survive contact with them.

Lines worth keeping

“We’re making use of maybe only 5 percent or 10 percent of what the possible value of the technology is.”

— Dario Amodei, Anthropic [00:53:19]

“Hallucination does not really work on the shop floor.”

— Roland Busch, Siemens [01:07:54]

“If you just tested it today and you felt that it did 80 percent of what you expected, test it again in a couple of weeks.”

— Jensen Huang, NVIDIA [01:27:54]

“We didn’t start where it was easy. We started on what mattered most, which is the core process.”

— Denis Machuel, Adecco [01:47:53]

“Most of the AI projects are struggling not because the AI is not ready. They are struggling because the model is not informed.”

— Nikate Trivedi, Salesforce [02:06:21]

“We don’t need 50,000 agents that can be done with the work of 5,000.”

— Deloitte Digital, sponsor segment [02:19:22]

What the keynote did not answer

  • Cost to run. Not one figure on what any of the internal results cost to achieve. The closest anyone came was a $2.5M monthly bill in a governance demo, which was not framed as ROI.
  • Time to value. Casey going live in twelve days was the only implementation duration given for any of the internal numbers.
  • Pricing. Explicitly deflected from the stage. “We don't want you to worry about pricing and packaging.” The one concrete figure, $2 per resolution for the help agent, was restated on the post keynote broadcast but originally announced in June.
  • Independent benchmarks for Koa. The three times fewer errors claim rests on Salesforce’s own CRM benchmark against unnamed models.
  • What the data work costs. L'Oreal mentioned harmonising three Salesforce orgs into one data model before any of this worked. The main stage never raised it once.

What early coverage got wrong

Including our own first summary, published the night of the keynote. Listed because a summary that hides its corrections is not worth trusting.

  1. $46.4B is full year FY27 revenue guidance, not quarterly revenue. Q2 FY27 revenue was $11.3B. The footnote on the slide says so.
  2. Fin is a $3.6 billion acquisition, not a partnership. Formerly Intercom, completed 10 September 2026.
  3. Koa was fine tuned on public and synthetic data. The spoken version on stage said synthetic only. Both agree no customer data was used.
  4. Hunter is in pilot, not generally available. Material if you are citing the $484M pipeline figure, which is attributed to Hunter and Piper together.
  5. The $2 per resolution pricing was not announced at Dreamforce. It dates to 25 June 2026. It was, however, restated on the official Dreamforce broadcast, which is why so many people first heard it this week.

Dreamforce 2026 keynote questions

What was announced at the Dreamforce 2026 keynote?

Salesforce announced AIforce, now renamed SIforce, a live interface layer that brings Salesforce data, permissions and governance into any AI interface; Koa, its first CRM reasoning model; Salesforce Guardian for agent and data security; Agent Fabric for managing agents across vendors; and a Customer 360 release wave spanning nine clouds. SIforce is generally available. Koa is in customer pilot.

Is SIforce available now?

Yes. SIforce (announced as AIforce) was announced as generally available at the Dreamforce 2026 keynote on 15 September 2026. The Claude surface, called Salesforce in Claude, is in open beta rather than general availability, and is activated separately through AppExchange.

How do I get access to Salesforce in Claude?

Go to AppExchange, find the Salesforce for Claude plugin, complete the form and submit your Salesforce org ID. Salesforce said from the keynote stage on 15 September 2026 that orgs are activated the same day. The plugin carries 37 prebuilt sales skills and requires Claude Enterprise.

What is Koa and when will it be available?

Koa is Salesforce’s first CRM reasoning model, built on NVIDIA Nemotron and designed for long running agents that complete multi step tasks. As of the Dreamforce 2026 keynote it is in customer pilot with Formula 1, Xero, Baxter Credit Union and UChicago Medicine, and Salesforce said it becomes publicly available in winter 2026.

Is Hunter generally available?

No. Hunter, the Agentforce outbound sales agent, was shown at the Dreamforce 2026 keynote as being in pilot, not general availability. Three Hunter capabilities, Data Gateway, Auto-Learning and Teams Integration, were dated November 2026. This matters because Salesforce's widely quoted $484M internal pipeline figure is attributed to Hunter and Piper together.

What is Salesforce Agent Fabric?

Agent Fabric is MuleSoft extended into a management plane for every AI agent in an enterprise, including agents built on Azure, AWS, Google and Agentforce. It provides agent discovery, data lineage, latency and error monitoring, policy violation alerts and per agent spending budgets. The AI Gateway is available now; evals and spend alerts were dated December 2026.

What is Salesforce Guardian?

Salesforce Guardian is the security suite announced at Dreamforce 2026, evolving Shield and Trusted Services. It focuses on agent identity, meaning detecting agents behaving outside policy, and on data security, meaning classification and lifecycle protection. Security Mesh and headless Backup and Recover are available now; MCP Security was dated January 2027.

When does Salesforce CCaaS launch?

Salesforce confirmed from the Dreamforce 2026 keynote stage that the Global Service Cloud Contact Center, its CCaaS offering, goes generally available in October 2026.

Did Salesforce acquire Fin?

Yes. Salesforce completed its acquisition of Fin, formerly Intercom, on 10 September 2026 for approximately $3.6 billion, five days before the Dreamforce keynote. The acquisition brought more than 30,000 customer companies. Fin was presented at the keynote as part of the Agentforce agent roster rather than as an acquisition announcement.

Did Salesforce announce $2 per resolution pricing at Dreamforce 2026?

No, though many people first heard it that week. The $2 per resolution outcome based pricing for the Agentforce Help Agent was announced on 25 June 2026 and went generally available in July. It was restated on the official Dreamforce broadcast on 15 September 2026, in the post keynote programme rather than in the keynote itself.

How much pipeline did Salesforce generate using its own AI agents?

Salesforce reported $484M in annualised sales pipeline generated by its own Hunter and Piper agents. The figure appeared on a keynote slide titled "Salesforce is an Agentic Enterprise". Marc Benioff described it as five hundred million in his spoken remarks; the slide figure of $484M is the precise one.

What is SIforce Max Edition?

SIforce Max Edition is a bundled Salesforce edition announced at Dreamforce 2026 that packages SIforce with the wider product set. Most new features shown across the nine Customer 360 release slides carry an SIforce Max Edition badge, indicating they are included in or gated behind that edition. Salesforce did not disclose pricing.

Can I watch the Dreamforce 2026 keynote?

Yes. Salesforce streamed the Dreamforce 2026 main keynote free on Salesforce+ and keeps sessions available on demand afterwards. The main keynote runs two hours and twenty seven minutes. Timecodes throughout this page refer to the start of that broadcast.

How this was compiled

This review was written from the complete Dreamforce 2026 main keynote broadcast, not from the press release or from secondhand coverage. The full two hour twenty seven minute recording was transcribed locally with Whisper large-v3, producing 2,700 transcript segments, and all 400 distinct slides were read by optical character recognition. Every figure was then checked against either the slide it appeared on or an official Salesforce release. Where the spoken remarks and the slide disagree, the page says so and uses the slide. Timecodes throughout refer to the start of the broadcast so any claim can be checked against the source.

Accuracy and limitations

  • This is independent analysis. Ailace Cloud is a Salesforce consulting partner. This review is our own work: it was not authorised, reviewed or endorsed by Salesforce, and nothing in it should be read as Salesforce's position.
  • Figures are quoted as presented, not verified as true. Where a number came off a slide, the slide is the source. Where it was spoken, the timecode is given. Salesforce's own performance claims are its claims.
  • Availability dates are as stated on stage on 15 September 2026 and are subject to change without notice. Confirm against Salesforce's own release notes before committing a plan or a budget to them.
  • Known corrections are listed above. Early coverage of this keynote, including our own first summary, got several things wrong.
  • This page summarises the keynote; it is not a transcript. It was built from the full broadcast, checked against the slide or an official Salesforce release wherever a claim was load bearing, and anything that could not be checked is flagged in the text rather than quietly dropped.
